Fortnite’s first Chapter 4 Season 3 significant patch has just been released, and two Reality Augments have already been added. Season 3 of Fortnite Chapter 4 kicked off on June 9, and as soon as it did, it sparked a great deal of community discussion regarding certain additions and modifications.
Many players were dismayed to discover that all portable mobility items had been withdrawn from Fortnite’s battle royale mode. Due to the vastness of the map and the abundance of water and cliffs, it can be challenging to flee the storm using only a vehicle.
This, however, appears to be the only drawback, fortunately, there was a great deal of new content to investigate and refocus players’ attention. This season focuses on the new jungle biome, as the name Fortnite WILDS suggests.
The majority of the features introduced this season are exclusive to this biome, and since the new Fortnite jungle points of interest are located in the middle of the map, it is unlikely that players will need to worry about mobility or evading the storm while exploring these locations.
Do you know that a number of developers at Square Enix have indicated an interest in porting Final Fantasy 6 to modern platforms? Final Fantasy 6 was the last standard 2D game in the mainline Final Fantasy series:
Mud was also added to Fortnite at the beginning of the season, allowing players to not only remain unseen by providing camouflage but also slide much quicker while concealed. Moreover, the addition of two Reality Augments in Update 25.10 has made mud an even greater feature in Fortnite.
The Mud Warrior Augment allows players to regenerate health and shields while muddy, whereas the SMG Extended Mag Augment enhances the capacity of SMG magazines. The Mud Warrior Augment stands out the most, but the SMG Extended Mag Augment is still a useful Chapter 4 Season 3 Reality Augment that can be useful in combat, despite not being as distinctive.
Sadly, the Aerialist Reality Augment has not yet been uncovered. This would have been a fantastic method to assist players who believe they lack mobility this season. Thankfully, update 25.10 brought back Shockwave Grenades, a mobility item that was originally introduced in Chapter 1 of Fortnite. It is not as rapid as the ODM Gear or the Spider-Verse Web-Shooters, but it will help players traverse the map more quickly.
