Fort Yargo State Park Kaelyn Phillips Missing Update
According to Winder Police, the missing girl is 16 years of age and she was last seen on January 29, 2024, at around 1:30 AM at Fort Yargo State Park Campground 2. The family of the missing person said none of Phillips’ items were touched or taken including her medication, clothes, identity card, and phone. The mother of the missing girl was identified as Misty Phillips.
Misty is currently in London for some work and she has been desperately waiting for her flight to get back home. Through her social media handle, Misty Phillips said “When my husband woke up on Monday morning, he took the dogs out and realized the door to the back area, where the girls’ bathroom is located, was ajar and items from the bathroom were on the ground outside. Ms. Phillips is a 16-year-old white female, 5’04” approximately 140lbs, possibly has braids in her hair, possibly wearing glasses, and possibly wearing white Puma shoes.”
Speaking of Kaelyn Phillips’ physical features, she is a 5 feet 4 inches tall girl who weighs around 140 pounds. Furthermore, the missing girl has double braids in her brown hair and she may be wearing spectacles. The officials even closed Fort Yargo State Park temporarily to search Kaelyn Phillips and urged the public to use K-9s.
