The Wave 4 content drop for Fire Emblem Engage will happen on April 4th. This is the fourth and final DLC from the Expansion Pass. This week, Nintendo announced the DLC’s release date and showed a new trailer with gameplay and different versions of familiar characters that players can expect to see in the DLC.
Fans have also noticed how quickly Nintendo has finished this DLC, which has led to rumors that a new Fire Emblem game might not be as far away as some people thought.
If you want to check out what’s coming in Wave 4 DLC and see if any of your favorite characters are back, you can watch the trailer for it below:

From what I can tell, the DLC has different versions of well-known characters like Alcryst, Griss, Zephia, and others. It also has a new story to play through and more to do.
It’s important to note, though, that Nintendo’s tweet says the DLC will come out on April 4, but the video says it will come out on April 5. Since April 4 is a Tuesday, it does seem like the more likely date in this case.
On Nintendo’s store page for the Expansion Pass, there aren’t many details about Wave 4 yet. We know that the new story will be called “Fell Xenologue” and that the DLC will give players access to new characters, locations, maps, and class types, but we don’t know much more than what’s been said and shown in the trailer.
Do you know that in November, Dune 2 will take us back to Arrakis to finish the epic story that Denis Villeneuve started in the first film? If you want to know when Dune 2 will come out, you can look at our coverage of it:
Players of Fire Emblem Engage may have already noticed that this game’s Expansion Pass has had a lot of new content come out in a short amount of time. The first wave of DLC came out on January 20, the same day the game came out.
After that, two more waves came out. With this new DLC coming out on April 4, the game will have used up all four DLCs it was supposed to have in less than three months.
Does this mean that Nintendo is getting ready to announce another Fire Emblem game? Some people think that, and some are already looking for a Fire Emblem announcement in Nintendo’s summer plans. However, Nintendo hasn’t said anything yet to suggest that the next game in the series is in the works.
