Step-by-Step Instructions on How to Unlock the Door to Your Binding Prison

You can only get to the Cage of Binding in the final dungeon, which is where Chapter 10 takes place. While the seven Goddess Materia is the game's ultimate goal, players will want to scrounge around for some extra loot and other goodies along the way.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion players should begin their exploration of this dungeon by searching for the four stone tablets that tell the story of LOVELESS, the epic that Genesis frequently quotes. There are a total of four tablets, but the game won't let you know when you've found them all.

In the Depths of Judgement, the Prologue tablet can be found right next to the safe zone. The tablet from Act I can be found in a puddle of water near the Lake of Oblivion's entrance.

The tablet for Act II can be found in the Howling Fang, close to the door leading to the Behemoth's locked chamber. There's a tablet from Act III inside the Portal of Severance.

In Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion, once all the tablets have been located, the player must travel to the Lake of Oblivion and search for large crystals protruding from the ceiling, each with a small column of light glowing faintly underneath it.

Every time you interact with a light, an enemy will appear. Players can unlock the Cage of Binding and earn the associated Achievement/Trophy by defeating the monster guarding each crystal.

The contents of the Binding Cage

There's a peculiar building there called the Cage of Binding, and it looks like a prison. Players of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion can expect to find a number of cells and locked doors. If you want to unlock the doors, you'll have to defeat some foes and pick up the keys they drop.

As time progresses, players will acquire the Iron Bars Key, which will unlock the cell in which the Behemoth is being held. Even though none of the Goddess Materia can be found here, the Cage of Binding is still worth exploring for loot before taking on the final boss.
