Since its reveal Final Fantasy 16 has skyrocketed up the sales rankings. As part of the PlayStation State of Play broadcast on April 13, a lot of Final Fantasy 16 gameplay was shown.
Now, one day later, Final Fantasy 16 is at the top of Amazon US’s list of best-selling games, beating out games like Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, NBA 2K23, the Resident Evil 4 remake, and the Dead Space remake.
The $100 Deluxe copy of Final Fantasy 16 is actually the best-selling game on Amazon right now, while the $70 standard copy is in fourth place. If players are ready to spend $100 on the new RPG on the first day, the new demo must have been very good.
Do you know that Inside by Playdead has an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam? The game is now 90% off:
If you look elsewhere online, you can see that Final Fantasy fans love the big new show for Final Fantasy 16. The game did the speaking,” while another added, “Now everyone is screaming and raving which is amusing to me.”
From what I can tell, there seems to have been some backlash against Final Fantasy 16 online in the past few weeks. Some people seemed to have doubts about the game’s graphics and gameplay, which is why the fan mentioned above said that the new demo “single-handedly destroy every narrative around the game.” Final Fantasy 16 finally went gold at the end of last month, with well over two months until its release.
