Escape From Tarkov: Last June, Escape From Tarkov was erased, so it won’t be long before players lose all their progress and account again. Here’s when the next wipe will occur.
If you’re unfamiliar with Escape From Tarkov and are curious what a wipe is, it’s simple: once every six months, developer Battlestate Games deletes all player data. All items, quests, levels, and trader reputations will be wiped, putting players back to square one.
Usually, this would be a problem, but in Escape From Tarkov, it’s somewhat helpful for maintaining the game’s sense of novelty and ensuring that new players can enter the contest on roughly equal footing with existing ones.

New Escape From Tarkov Map Shown in Latest Gameplay Trailer
Today, Battlestate Games released a patch trailer for Escape from Tarkov, showcasing the game’s newest map, Streets. The trailer for Patch 0.13 for Escape From Tarkov was released today by developer Battlestate Games.
The Streets of Tarkov, one of the game’s most anticipated maps, would finally be added in this version. This would be the game’s ninth playable map, joining the previously unplayable Town, Suburbs, and Terminal.
Although specifics about the map are currently scant, plenty can be gleaned from the teaser. To begin, it looks like the map only covers the area of one or two blocks. It could have been as large as four blocks, for all I know.

The streets and essential thoroughfares of the city are the primary features of this map, as the name would imply. Roads, automobiles, and buildings characterize most of this map’s metropolitan setting. If my recollection is correct, this is our first look at Tarkov proper.
While much of the action takes place on the city’s streets, players will also have access to some of the structures within them. Even though we won’t be able to go inside every frame, we will explore many exciting locations.
Apartment complexes, convenience stores, workshops, and hotels may all be seen in the trailer. As the map’s loot is probably housed inside several structures, gamers will have to traverse the map from building to structure in search of plunder.

When it comes to gun battles, players have the option of engaging in either close-quarters or long-range encounters. Fights at mid and long-ranges will occur in the streets, while short-range, or close-quarters, fighting will occur inside buildings.
Players must adjust their equipment, whether the game is played primarily on the streets or in a controlled environment. The trailer also features gameplay footage of players firing grenades behind their barrels. This attachment has been the subject of several tips, and it will be invaluable on these streets.
