Dying Light 2’s First Story DLC Has Yet Again Been Delayed

The Bloody Ties add-on was previously scheduled for a June release, then pushed back to mid-October, and is currently scheduled for release in November on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. To give the development team more time to “polish and squash issues,” Techland has decided to push back the release of Bloody Ties until November 10th.

The studio also mentioned that they will be doing a developer Q&A on Discord this coming Friday to talk about the upcoming DLC in greater detail.

According to the official description of the downloadable content, “In Bloody Ties, players will embark on a new tale journey, you will reach the epicenter of death, wealth, and utter splendor in a gorgeous place; The Carnage Hall.” Challenges and missions await you in this former opera house, as do startling new weapon kinds, character interactions, and discoveries.

Pre-ordering the downloadable content grants players access to the Aristocrat Pack, which contains a unique weapon and set of clothes. Following a Dying Light 2 datamine that hinted at a gladiator-themed first major expansion, the DLC was announced officially last month.

Techland promised at least five years of post-launch content for Dying Light 2’s open-world zombie sequel before its February release.

Final Words

Dying Light 2’s first story DLC, Bloody Ties, has been pushed out to November 10, 2022, developer Techland revealed on Twitter. The first major DLC for Techland’s zombie horror game was scheduled for an October 15th, 2022 release but was pushed out to November due to delays.
