Avalanche Software, makers of the Wizarding World role-playing game Hogwarts Legacy, told IGN that they have no intentions to update the game at this time.
Game director Alan Tew mentioned at IGN Fan Fest that the team was so busy with the game’s debut last week that they have no plans to release any expansions just yet.
“We’ve been really heads down bringing [Hogwarts Legacy] to life,” said Tew, “so at the moment there are no current plans for DLC.”

Avalanche Software has already released a patch for the game that contains a number of performance enhancements and other upgrades, so it’s not like they won’t be supporting the game when it launches.
The PlayStation-exclusive Hogsmeade quest adds a little bit more to the overall story of Hogwarts Legacy. Fans will have to wait and see whether Avalanche Software offers any meaningful bonuses, though based on Tew’s comments, that seems unlikely. Hogwarts Legacy, however, has had a phenomenal beginning, amassing over half a million players on Steam before it even opened, which may encourage the creators and publishers to add more content set in the Wizarding World.
