On 24th November 2023, Friday, the air quality of Delhi slipped again to the Severe category. This was recorded yesterday and this is one of the most hilarious and shocking news of the current time for all the residents of Delhi. As per the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR), the overall air quality index (AQI) in Delhi stood up at 408 at around 8:00 am yesterday. Then at 4:00 pm, it got worse as at that time the AQI stood at 415. But then at around 10:30 pm yesterday the AQI got removed a little bit as the AQI stood at 392.
Last Sunday there was a slight improvement in the air quality condition of the national capital. But unfortunately in the last 24 hours, the situation has become worse. The 24-hour average AQI is recorded at 4:00 pm every single day. On 23rd November 2023, Thursday, the AQI in Delhi was stood at 390, before that on Wednesday, the AQI recorded at 394, on Tuesday the AI recorded at 392, on Monday the AQI was recorded at 348., and then on Sunday the AQI was recorded at 301. So on that day, the air quality of the national capital was categorized under the Very Poor category.
The India Meteorological Development (IMD) gave a statement in which they shared their prediction. IMD has predicted that there is a reliance because of the slight improvement in the metrological conditions in the influence of the western disturbance. It is expected that it will affect northwest India from 27th November 2023, Monday. Because of the stubble burning in Punjab, Haryana, and UP, this pollution is being raised but now the stubble burning is very very few. Vehicles have 36% of the contribution to pollution right now.
