Delhi air quality, AQI at 323; no relief from high pollution

According to the source, the Delhi air quality stood at 323 on 21st November 2023, Tuesday. This was recorded at 6:30 am which means on the morning of today. The System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR) has now stood in the very Poor category. It has been reported that the national capital and its suburbs officially registered Maginal improvement on 19th November 2023, Sunday but somehow there was some big relief from the high pollution levels which might going to be covered in the upcoming days.

The national capital officially registered 13.2 degrees Celsius temperature on Tuesday according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). As per the SAFAR, the air quality index at the IIT Delhi was 321, at Pusa, it was 337, and at the Airpot (Terminal 3) area was 336. CPCB has recorded an AQI of 374 in Anand Vihar, 315 in Lodhi Road, 370 in Moti Bagh, and 399 in Jahangirpuri. As the air quality in Delhi has improved the Commission for Ai Quality Management has officially lifted the restrictions which are imposed under GRAP 2 on 18th November 2023, Saturday. Sources have revealed that it is allowing trucks and busses to enter Delhi but the BS-3 and BS-4 petrol and diesel vehicles are not allowed and the lifting of the ban on construction work is.
