Dead Space Remake: Motive Studio, responsible for the upcoming Dead Space reboot, has announced the PC system requirements and two unique graphical options for console players.
The original installment in the iconic horror genre has been remade, and the results are impressive. The famed planet-cracker USG Ishimura has been rebuilt and retooled for the remake.
Dead Space’s aesthetic improvement over its 2008 predecessor was evident in the recently leaked 20 minutes of gameplay footage.
The new Dead Space game, built on top of EA’s widely used Frostbite engine, will feature all the modern conveniences that today’s gamers have come to expect, including the flexibility to prioritize either performance or visual fidelity.
The graphics from the original Dead Space, released in 2008, were praised for their atmosphere and grim realism.
Despite the considerable differences between the original and the 2023 remake, it is clear that the developers paid particular attention to the original’s visual language and aesthetic.
Even while the original Dead Space received high marks for its dynamic shadows, the remaster will add complete raytracing if the player chooses.
Both RT-enabled 4K/30 FPS and RT-disabled 2K/60 FPS modes will be accessible on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
One of the most anticipated games of January 2023, Dead Space will also be highly sought after on PC because of its impressive visuals and demanding system requirements.

From what we can see, the suggested GPU baseline is the relatively modest Nvidia RTX 2070 or the Radeon RX 6700 XT, as stated by Motive Studio.
However, it’s worth noting that no information about the intended PC resolution or frame rate has been provided, so this isn’t as helpful as it could be.
A remake of Dead Space is scheduled for 2023, and, not surprisingly, expectations are high. From what we’ve seen so far, it looks like Motive Studio has done a fantastic job of preserving the essence of what makes Dead Space so great.
At the same time, series loyalists won’t know if the game lives up to its early praise until it has more time to be thoroughly reviewed.

After what many consider a lackluster performance from former DS developer Glen Schofield, some horror fans may be wary about Dead Space. In particular, The Callisto Protocol has failed to meet its sales goals.
Given that it was advertised as a spiritual successor to Dead Space, it’s not hard to think that many gamers will wait to see how the remake fares before spending their money on it. Dead Space will be available for the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on January 27.
