James Chambers was a 28-year-old man. he was a resident of Fayetteville. He used to work on two jobs first as a construction worker at the company of his father and also as a lifeguard at Duplin County.

According to reports, he was last seen at his Carol Street apartment by his ten roommates whose name has been identified as Brandi Sugurue before he went to Lake Leamon for his job with his co-worker, Howard Adrian Ashleman. He went missing on 15th August 2014 but his family reported this missing on 24th August 2014. In the investigation, Brandi stated that he mentioned a falling out with someone some weeks ago but he never seemed to be concerned about it. No one knows where he is. The main doubt of the suspect was on Howard Ashleman. he was arrested after his interview with the police because of the lack of proof. He was gone arrested on 12th February 2018 with the coordination of the Fayetteville Police Department with the Fayetteville Police Department Violent Criminal Apprehension Team, and the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office. The charges against him were made and the charges include first-degree murder and robbery with a harmful weapon after the police officers received a valid recording of his confession to the wife of James Chambers.
