Canadian poet Rupi Kaur rejects Joe Biden’s Diwali invitation over Israel support

The famous Canadian poet Rupi Kaur has taken a very big step recently. Recently, the President of the United States, Joe Biden ended a Diwali invitation to Rupi Kaur and now she has rejected the invitation. She has rejected this invitation because Biden is currently supporting Israel regarding the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas. This is the biggest action taken by the poet. People are shocked. Rupi Kaur is a well-known Canadian poet, photographer, illustrator, and author. She was born on 4th October 1992 in Punjab, India. She immigrated to Canada at a very young age with her family. She started performing poetry in 2009 and then she gained fame on Instagram because of her poetry. She became popular and now she is one of the most popular poets through her three collections of poetry. She was born into a Sikh family. She has not seen India much because when she was three years old she immigrated to Punjab. Rupi Kaur completed her graduation from the University of Waterloo, she completed her graduation BA degree.

The 31-year-old Canadian poet, Rupi Kaur has recently taken a very big step. She has recently turned down the invitation from the Joe Biden administration for the 2023 Diwali event. On this Rupi Kaur has claimed that she has officially declined the invitation from the government of the United States. She has done this because of the US’s continuous support of Israel at the time of the bombardment of Gaza. Rupi Kaur further wrote that she is going to decline any invitation from an institution or organization that supports Israel because they have trapped the civilian population of which approx 50% are children. She said that she belongs to a Sikh community so as a Sikh woman she is not going to allow her likeness to get used in the whitewashing of the administration’s actions. Today is the 32 day of the Israel vs. Hamas war. This war has been completed for one month and now there is no stopping on war.
