Fans can look forward to “a significant evolution of Battle Royale with all-new playspace and a new sandbox mode,” as stated on the official Call of Duty website. And as we said before, Activision's earnings-based post promised “groundbreaking advances.” Warzone 2 and the new Modern Warfare 2 are both being developed on a new engine, which may result in a visual and mechanical departure from the series' previous titles.

The unique and varied landscapes of Warzone 2.0 are said to be unlike anything players have seen in Call of Duty: Warzone before. “A large metropolitan area is comprising coastal towns, depots, desert, rocky peaks, subterranean caverns, industrial sites, rivers, and an entire metropolis to explore,” the developers have promised.
Which Consoles And Platforms Support Warzone 2?
Activision has announced that PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC will all be able to play Warzone 2. There's no longer any need for gamers on older platforms to feel left behind! Despite Microsoft/efforts at Xbox to acquire Activision, Sony's consumer base is not being ignored.
Is Warzone 2 Free?
That's right; you can get Warzone 2 without paying anything. In a recent Call of Duty blog, Activision revealed that Warzone 2.0 is “free for everyone.” Although Warzone 2 is a part of Modern Warfare 2 Season 1, it appears that the purchase of that expansion is not required for participation in Warzone 2 matches.

Publisher Activision has set the release date of November 16th, 2022, for Warzone 2. This means that you'll have plenty of time to get good at Warzone 2.0 before Christmas, given its release date is just a few weeks after the release of MW2.

On November 16th, a free-to-play version of Call of Duty: Warzone will be released. Al Mazrah, the new map included in the game, will be the most extensive Warzone map to date. More than a dozen brand new vehicles, including tactical cars, light tanks, UTVs, rigid inflatable boats, heavy choppers, and more, will be available in Warzone 2.0. Ai enemies and fortifications will be spread out around the game's landscape, but engaging them is entirely up to the player. You can avoid being pursued by these soldiers if you ignore them. In addition, a new DMZ mode will be included in Warzone 2.0 in a future version. Aside from them, the core elements of playing Warzone 2.0 have not changed significantly.
