In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, players have found a number of funny Easter eggs written on bullets. After Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 Reloaded came out, fans are getting back into the game and finding out new things.
Over the years, Infinity Ward hasn’t been known for putting a lot of Easter eggs in its games, but players have found quite a few in its most recent game. One gamer with a sharp eye even found a reference to Breaking Bad in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign.
In the Call of Duty series, the most interesting Easter eggs tend to be in the Zombies game mode, which is usually Treyarch’s forte. Since Treyarch’s next Call of Duty won’t come out until at least 2024, gamers will have to make do with the smaller Easter eggs that can be found in both Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games’ games.
Do you know that a lot of Destiny 2 players have been gathering at the Tower to remember Lance Reddick, who died at age 60:
The first bullet Easter egg was posted on Reddit by the user tristan mua, who said he found it by accident. Around the bullet is written “.50 BIG UWU SO MUCH OUCHIE,” which looks like it was done by a developer who was having a good time at work.
Gamers in the thread liked the joke, and many admired the fact that it was included even though it was possible that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players would never have seen it.
Scourgelol found the second Easter egg in a bullet, which says “9×19 LOVE BE MINE.” It’s interesting that the different types of ammunition and weapons in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 all seem to have different engravings on the bullets.
It remains to be seen if there are even more hidden engravings on other guns that players can find. Even though the glitch that causes this problem is well-known, no one knows for sure what makes the glitch happen in-game.
Gamers still don’t know what will happen with Call of Duty. There is no proof yet, but rumors say that Call of Duty 2023 will continue the Modern Warfare series.
In the long run, Microsoft’s ongoing purchase of Activision raises questions about the future of the franchise on PlayStation platforms, even though Microsoft has been very clear that this is not the case.
If the deal goes through, only time will tell if the company sticks to what it said. Fans are still as interested in the series as ever, and it stays one of the best casual shooters year after year. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is now available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
