It is alleged that Bonke Makalala committed several serious crimes in and around Cape Town. Therefore, he was arrested this weekend. He is a renowned businessman who hails from Tsomo, Eastern Cape. However, he was also hailed as a hero when he fixed a bridge in Tsomo that had the risk of collapsing at the time. Reportedly, Bonke Makalala fixed the bridge in 6 days with the help of 25 people. Taxi Boss said he realized he needed to do something about the neglected bridge, which had become impassable during heavy rains, leading to drownings for motorists to cross.
