After the emergency landing incident, the Federal Aviation Administration issued an order for immediate inspection of Boeing 737 Max 9 aircraft. According to the FAA, a total of 171 aircraft used by US airlines will be temporarily grounded for inspections around the world, affecting fleets of several airlines implying thousands of passengers will suffer inconvenience with cancellations and delays of their flights.
