To commemorate the Year of the Rabbit, Chinese independent developer Game Science unveiled the Black Myth: Wukong release date in a stop-motion film. Fans know how long it will be before exploring the magical world of Black Myth: Wukong and its mythical animals.
Action role-playing game Black Myth: Wukong is based on the classic 16th-century book Journey to the West and chronicles the journey of a Buddhist monk from China to the western parts of Central Asia and India.
The monk encountered other creatures from Chinese folklore along the way, including a monkey king named Sun Wukong. The main character in Black Myth: Wukong, will have to battle several foes to assist the Buddhist monk in traveling to the West.
A stop-motion video featuring rabbits playing Black Myth: Wukong was released by Game Science to commemorate the Chinese New Year and the start of the Year of the Rabbit. In this lighthearted animation, a rabbit waits years for Black Myth: Wukong to release while updating his computer in vain.
Years later, when the game is finally released, he runs into kids playing the action RPG on a big screen. The end of the clip displays the Summer 2024 release date for Black Myth: Wukong.
This humorous Chinese New Year short clip from Game Science makes fun of the actual system requirements for playing Black Myth: Wukong by pointing out the rabbit’s updated PC and his Knidia NoForce PTX 12999 graphics card do not.
