As the assembly elections in Rajasthan are approaching very fast, the rival political parties, BJP and Congress are gearing up to kick-start their election campaigns in the state. In a bid to do so, the senior leaders of both parties have landed in Rajasthan, including Home Minister Amit Shah, Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. On the other hand, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also reached Rajasthan to join Ashok Gehlot in the campaign. People across the country have set their keen eyes on the political campaigns of BJP and Congress for different assembly elections ahead of general elections next year. Therefore, each and every state that is going under poll before the general elections 2024, is very important for both parties. Let’s delve deep into the details and learn more about the election campaigns of both parties in Rajasthan.

Rahul Gandhi and Amit Shah

As some regions of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh await polling tomorrow, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reached Rajasthan to start the election campaign today. As part of his Rajasthan leg, Rahul Gandhi addressed a message of party unity and sought to quell and feathers that are still ruffled over the Ashok Gehlot-Sachin Pilot fallout. Rahul Gandhi said, “We are not only seen together but we are also united. We will be together and Congress will sweep the elections here and win.”

Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot went on to take a dig at BJP by saying “They won’t say anything, just accuse of false allegations and do ‘Gandhi Parivaar’. For the past 30 years, no one from the Gandhi family has become Prime Minister… For 30 years, this family has lived without any position, they are just managing the Congress party. With this, why do they have pain in their stomachs? Why do they target them, they should target us, we work in the field… Why are they afraid of them? This means that this family has the highest credibility in the country.”
