We still have a lot to show you, so please be patient. The company will host a special presentation just for Starfield on Sunday, June 11, immediately following Microsoft’s annual Xbox reveal. Starfield’s release date was supposed to be November 11, 2022, a nod to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim’s debut on November 11, 2011. At this year’s Xbox & Bethesda event, Microsoft and Bethesda showed off a full 15 minutes of Starfield gameplay.
Naturally, Starfield is an intergalactic adventure in which players assume the roles of the final explorers. The RPG, which director Todd Howard has called “Skyrim in space,” may be played in the first or third person, though the former is recommended.

The primary narrative focus is the Constellation, humanity’s final crew of space explorers. Bethesda puts a lot of stock in players’ ability to personalize their characters with a versatile system that lets them change things like skin tone, facial shape, hair, and more.
In Starfield, there will be a talent system with unlocks and different ranks, and players can choose three attributes to personalize their characters. In addition, materials to create weapon upgrades are available.
Starfield’s remarkable flight mechanics were displayed in Bethesda’s first gameplay trailer, suggesting that the game’s combat will occur on more than just planets. Starfield features an open-world design where players can land and explore any of the game’s thousand-plus worlds.
On September 6, Starfield will release exclusively for Xbox One X/S and PC, which will be playable on Xbox Game Pass from the start.
