How do you play the Batman Arkham games?

The Rocksteady saga can be played on modern systems. So, you can get your bat-hands on the Batman: Arkham saga on any of the aforementioned platforms right now: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, or PC.

Although Arkham Origins was spared this fate and is still exclusively available on its original platforms, Warner Bros. Games has re-released it as part of a compilation (PS3, Xbox 360, and PC).

However, it may be played on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S consoles because of its backward compatibility. In addition, a leak of an unannounced Nintendo Switch adaptation occurred recently.

While City Lockdown was released for both iOS and Android, the spinoff Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate was developed for older systems but is still available for purchase on PC. Arkham VR can be played on PC or PS4/PS5 (PlayStation VR) with a suitable virtual reality headset.

In 2009, Rocksteady launched the third-person action game Batman: Arkham Asylum for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with a PC version following a few months later. In this game, we venture deep into Arkham Asylum to take on the Joker and the rest of the Joker’s gang.

In our games, Batman is equipped with various infiltration tools and gadgets. The fighting system is rhythmic and intuitive, and we gain access to new abilities as we play. Batman: Arkham City followed the success of Arkham Asylum by expanding on the formula established there.

The gameplay is mostly the same, albeit it has been refined and expanded upon, and players can now freely roam at least some of Gotham City. The 2011 installment was followed by Batman: Arkham Origins, again developed by Warner Bros.
