Polling for the seats in the 90-member Chhattisgarh Assembly is going to happen in two phases on 7 & 17 November 2023. Reportedly, the party fielded candidates including Dev Ganesh Tekam from the Samri constituency, Bhagirath Manjhi from Bindrawagarh, Munna Toppo from Sitapur constituency, Santosh Yadu from Baloda Bazar, Prakash Toppo from Jashpur, Vijay Gurubaxani from Raipur North, Parmanand Jangde from Arang, Gopal Bapudia from Raigarh, Sobram Singh Saima from Pali-Tanakhar, Neelam Dhruv from Khallari, Parmeshwar Prashad Pandey from Janjgir Champa. As per the report, Earlier, the party announced the names of 10 candidates in the first list 12 names in its second list, and 11 in the third list. With this, a total of 45 candidates so far have been announced for the Chhattisgarh assembly elections. Recently, the party, guided by its national governor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvid Kejriwal, released a 37-star campaigners list for the Chhattisgarh polls. As far as we know, Earlier, the party wrote to the Election Commission requesting them to reschedule the polling date given the Chhath Puja festival. Chhatt Puja will be celebrated from 17 to 20 November 2023. In its letter, the party has offered to change the second phase of polling date from 17 November to 25 November.
