Rapper and actor Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson recently uploaded a mysterious teaser for “Vice City,” sparking rumors that he will have a role in the upcoming Grand Theft Auto video game. He was promoting a new, unrelated TV series with a Grand Theft Auto–style narrative, as has already been verified.
According to Deadline, Paramount+ is working on an original Vice City series that Jackson’s G-Unit Film & TV will produce. In the middle of the 1980s, after receiving dishonorable discharges due to the Iran Contra controversy, three former soldiers and best friends return to Miami.
Disgraced, uprooted and forgotten by the country they served and with no solid employment prospects, the three buddies team up with a strange Colombian immigrant, fusing their financial demands and criminal ambitions to form a heist squad. “Driven by a desire for greenbacks from the United States, they travel a risky and violent road in search of the American Dream.”

Writers and executive producers Darnell Metayer and Josh Peters are responsible for the upcoming Transformers film Vice City. Chad Stahelski, who previously worked on the John Wick movies, is the show’s executive producer and director.
Rockstar Games is now working on Grand Theft Auto 6, or whatever it ends up being called. A big leak suggests that it will take place in Vice City (a made-up Miami) and chronicle the narrative of criminal twins in the vein of Bonnie and Clyde.
